Simple one-piece design made from a rectangular piece of 10 mil mylar like material, rounded at the bottom and a shoelace.
Material holds shape well. The curving folds form a ridged brim and curved front. The side shields provide extra protection.
The complete shield is very light weight, 25 grams. Its low mass enables quick movements. You can look up, down and side to side with complete range of motion and minimum interference.
